Business Licenses and Permits in Japan - TSV
Various licenses and permits are required depending on the industry in Japan. Depending on the nature of the business, permits and licenses must be obtained from ministries such as the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, and the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, as well as local governments. There are five types of permits: notification, registration, authorization, permit, and license, each with different requirements and procedures.
