CAS Registry Numbers are unique identifiers assigned by the Chemical Abstracts Service (CAS) of the American Chemical Society (ACS) to chemical substances. In operation since 1957, the registry now contains over 290 million substances. This dataset includes common chemicals such as water, ethanol, and acetone, along with their CAS Registry Numbers, molecular formulas, and uses. CAS numbers are internationally recognized and widely used by regulatory agencies, research institutions, and industries worldwide.
