Disease Causes - HTML
Disease causes are broadly classified into pathogens causing infectious diseases (bacteria, viruses, fungi, parasites, etc.), genetic factors, lifestyle factors, and environmental factors. According to WHO, major causes of death are classified into three categories: infectious and parasitic diseases, noncommunicable diseases (NCDs), and injuries. Noncommunicable diseases are chronic conditions that progress over long periods, with the four main types being cardiovascular diseases, cancers, chronic respiratory diseases, and diabetes.
