DOI (Digital Object Identifier) - TOML
DOI (Digital Object Identifier) is an internationally standardized identifier system for persistently identifying and accessing digital objects. Standardized as ISO 26324, it is assigned to various digital content including academic papers, research data, and books. Composed of a prefix and suffix, the DOI itself remains unchanged even when URLs change, and is designed to always provide access to the latest content through metadata updates.
