Types of Fibers - INI

Fibers are broadly classified into natural fibers and chemical fibers. Natural fibers consist of plant fibers (cotton, linen, etc.), animal fibers (silk, wool, etc.), and mineral fibers. Chemical fibers are classified into regenerated fibers (rayon, cupra, etc.), semi-synthetic fibers (acetate, etc.), synthetic fibers (polyester, nylon, acrylic, etc.), and inorganic fibers (carbon fiber, glass fiber, etc.). They are widely used from clothing to industrial materials.
