Types of healthcare professionals include medical and therapeutic professionals such as doctors, nurses, and pharmacists; rehabilitation professionals such as physical therapists, occupational therapists, and speech-language-hearing therapists; medical technology professionals such as clinical laboratory technicians and radiological technologists; dental professionals such as dentists and dental hygienists; massage and acupuncture professionals such as anma massage shiatsu practitioners and acupuncturists; specialized professionals such as emergency medical technicians and registered dietitians; and welfare professionals such as care workers and certified social workers.
