Major International Human Rights Treaties - YAML

International human rights treaties are a set of treaties adopted by the United Nations aimed at protecting and promoting human rights. Based on the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (1948), they consist of nine core human rights treaties, including the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights and the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights. Each treaty has a specialized committee that monitors the implementation status of state parties.
