Japan Standard Commodity Classification - HTML

The Japan Standard Commodity Classification (JSCC) is a classification system established by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications as a statistical standard for displaying statistics by commodity. It covers all valuable tangible commodities (including electricity, gas, and water supply) that are traded and transferable in the market. First established in March 1950, the current version is the 5th revision from June 1990, featuring a hierarchical structure with 10 major categories and 97 medium categories, widely used for creating and presenting economic statistics.
