JIS (Japanese Industrial Standards) Numbers - Markdown

JIS (Japanese Industrial Standards) is Japan's national standard established and managed by the Japanese Industrial Standards Committee (JISC), an advisory body under the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI). Based on the Industrial Standardization Act, it covers industrial and mineral products, data, services, and management systems. The system uses a single alphabet letter from A to Z to indicate the field, and 4 or 5 digits to identify specific standards.
