Library of Congress Classification - INI
The Library of Congress Classification (LCC) is a library classification system developed at the Library of Congress in 1897. It organizes all knowledge into 21 main classes from A (General Works) to Z (Bibliography, Library Science), with each class identified by a single letter of the alphabet. Widely adopted by academic libraries and research institutions worldwide, particularly in the United States, it stands alongside the Dewey Decimal Classification as one of the major library classification systems and is continuously updated and maintained.
