Nobel Prize Disciplines - TSV

The Nobel Prize is an international award established according to Alfred Nobel's will and awarded since 1901. Originally consisting of five disciplines - Physics, Chemistry, Physiology or Medicine, Literature, and Peace - a sixth category, Economic Sciences, was added in 1968 by Sveriges Riksbank. It is awarded to individuals or organizations that have made the greatest contributions to humanity in each field, and is considered one of the most prestigious awards recognizing contributions to science, humanities, and peace.
