A comprehensive list of official sports for the Olympic and Paralympic Games as defined by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and International Paralympic Committee (IPC). The Summer Olympics feature 32 sports (Paris 2024), while the Summer Paralympics feature 22 sports (Paris 2024), with additional sports scheduled for the Los Angeles 2028 Games. Each sport is governed by an International Federation (IF), with athletes from around the world competing at the highest level.
