Paper Size Standards - TOML
Paper size standards are a system of specifications that define the dimensions of paper used for documents and printed materials. Internationally, the ISO 216 standard (A series, B series, C series) is widely adopted, and in Japan, domestic standards are established as JIS P 0138. These standards are based on an aspect ratio of 1:√2 (approximately 1:1.414), featuring the characteristic of being able to be cut in half while maintaining the same proportions. North America uses unique standards such as Letter, Legal, and Tabloid sizes.
