Types of Public Facilities - INI
Public facilities refer to facilities established and managed by local governments for the purpose of promoting the welfare of residents. They are classified into 13 major categories and 28 sub-categories in the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications' Public Facilities Status Survey and Comprehensive Public Facility Management Plan. Main facilities include libraries, community centers, sports facilities, parks, schools, welfare facilities, medical facilities, and administrative facilities, which play indispensable roles in residents' daily lives and community formation.
