Public Health Center - TSV

Public Health Centers are public institutions established by prefectures, designated cities, core cities, public health ordinance cities, and special wards (Tokyo's 23 wards) under the Community Health Act. Founded in 1938, they aim to maintain and promote the health of local residents by providing various public health services including health consultations, vaccinations, health guidance, infectious disease control, maternal and child health, mental health, and environmental sanitation. Staffed with physicians, public health nurses, nurses, pharmacists, and other specialists, they contribute to improving public health standards in their communities through affordable or free healthcare services.
