Types of Rubber - TSV

Rubber is broadly classified into natural rubber and synthetic rubber. Natural rubber is a natural material primarily composed of polyisoprene extracted from rubber trees, possessing excellent elasticity and mechanical strength. Synthetic rubber is artificially manufactured from petrochemical raw materials and divided into general-purpose and special-purpose rubbers. General-purpose rubbers include SBR, BR, IR, and IIR, widely used in tires and other applications. Special-purpose rubbers include NBR, CR, EPDM, silicone rubber, and fluorocarbon rubber, each possessing specific properties such as oil resistance, weather resistance, and heat resistance. Selecting the appropriate rubber for the application is a critical factor that affects product performance and lifespan.
