Vehicle Registration and Scrapping Procedures - TSV
Vehicle registration and scrapping procedures are important administrative processes for managing the lifecycle of vehicles under Japan's Road Vehicle Act. These include initial registration for new vehicle purchases, transfer registration (ownership change) for sales, change registration for address updates, and cancellation registration (temporary or permanent) for vehicle disposal. The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism's One-Stop Service (OSS) enables online processing for many of these procedures.
