Types of Volunteer Activities - INI
Volunteer activities are classified into 12 specific non-profit activity fields based on the Act on Promotion of Specified Non-Profit Activities (NPO Law). There are diverse areas of activity including community cleaning, disaster relief, elderly support, and animal protection, allowing participation according to individual skills and interests. In recent years, interest in environmental conservation and disaster prevention/reduction has increased, and new forms of volunteer activities utilizing digital technology are also growing.
