Types of Abuse - TSV

Types of abuse systematically categorize harmful behaviors inflicted upon victims. In Japanese law, five types are defined in the Elder Abuse Prevention Act, Child Abuse Prevention Act, and Disability Abuse Prevention Act: physical abuse, psychological abuse, sexual abuse, neglect, and economic abuse. These classifications serve as important criteria for early detection of abuse, appropriate intervention, and victim support.
