World cuisines are primarily composed of five major culinary traditions: Japanese, Chinese, Italian, Indian, and Mexican cuisines. Each possesses unique cooking techniques, ingredients, seasonings, and food cultures that are beloved worldwide. Among them, Japanese Washoku and Traditional Mexican Cuisine are registered as UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage, internationally recognized for the importance of preserving and passing down food culture.
